Another hospital to rise in Samar soon – Gov Tan-Delos Santos
In line with efforts to improve health care access of members of its marginalized population, Samar Governor Sharee Tan-Delos Santos announced that the provincial government will build a modern four-storey hospital in Catbalogan City.
The lady politiko said Samar has already received a P150 million seed fund from the Department of Health and construction will start within the next three months.
While the Samar provincial government will shell out another P350 million, Tan-Delos Santos added.
The new hospital will be built near the present hospital, which is close to the Samar provincial capitol building.
It will have 300 beds and will be equipped with state-of-the art facilities.
